The Original Chloe Perfume – A Review

Do you remember the 1970s? This decade is very special for me. I was born in 1973, and my mother and father, both of whom were delighted Fashion People dressed me in the stylish clothing from this period – Baby leisure suits, bell bottoms and seventies-style orange clothing. Even my hair was very fashionable, my afro was long, clean and attractive. I was the envy of all children.
Just as I began my life as a fashionable seventies child, new scent concepts weredeveloped. In the women were the most popular fragrances demanding and risque natural or soft and romantic. True fragrances for men also appeared on the market. All really successful fragrances had to be a “message.”
In the 1970s, the house of Chloe “The fire” was in fashion for all people. Founded in 1952 by Gaby Aghion, this fashion house has been known to employ hot, young designers in the late 1950s and 1960s. It also led ready-to-wear high fashion to the publicduring this period. In 1966, Karl Lagerfeld introduced Chloe to be their chief designer. Under his leadership it became one of the most iconic brands in the 1970s. During this time, Chloe launched her first fragrance, Chloe.
So, what do think of professional and amateur critics Chloe? The opinions about this fragrance are mixed. The bloggers from Chloe Perfume Shrine describes as “warm, radiant and feminine.” But in the same sentence they mention that it is “a bit obsessedsticky nastiness that its wearer announced a bit earlier than would be the height of good manners. “Other critics believe it is disgusting that while some opinionators makes them feel to be called sophisticated. But everyone agrees that there is a” memento is his era. ”
I agree with the “memento of its era” conclusion. The original Chloe is an excellent example of the seventies perfumes for women. It is very feminine, romantic nor independent. It reminds me of the smells, the women inmy life had taken when I was a child. I must admit that Chloe can be dated to many women. Missing the sweet notes of today’s popular fragrant creations. Therefore, it is best for older women and mature girls, can be revived through the 1970s again.
It is characterized by a floral and orange tuberose fragrance. It starts with coconut, bergamot and aldehydic (synthetic) peach notes. His heart is tuberose, ylang-ylang, hyacinth and orris, tuberose is the strongest note in thisGroup. It dries finally musk, sandalwood, cedar and benzoin.

Chloe Introduces Three Floral Scents for Spring 2010

Present from the early days of famed Parisian House Chloé, flowers have always left their mark at the very heart of the brand. Chloé enters a new floral chapter in the eau de fleurs collection with the launch of three new fragrances: Lavande, Capucine, and Néroli.

The new feminine, yet understated collection was driven forward by Artistic Director Hannah MacGibbon and created by a trio of female perfumers, Domitille Bertier (IFF), Aliénor Massenet (IFF) and Louise Turner (Givaudan). Inspired by memories of fantasized nature, the Chloé eau de fleurs collection pays homage to three essences: lavender, nasturtium and neroli.

Lavande: Inspired by the freshness of summer days, this feminine fragrance featured the noblest of lavenders obtained from the best French harvests.
Capucine: Featuring the simple nasturtium flower, this crisp scent blends refreshing bergamot, lemon and juniper berry for a modern, refreshing finish.
Neroli: Vibrant and spicy, this woody scent combines mandarin and orange with typically masculine rosemary and neroli.
Housed in luxurious glass bottles with minimal lines and a metal cube stopper, this iconic bottle expresses the Chloé values: simplicity and sophistication, authentic luxury and timeless elegance.
